Civic Space is a physical or digital platform where individuals come together to exercise their human rights and core freedoms. It allows people to be active in their communities, speak out, organize, protest, help each other, and participate in governance, shaping politics, economies, and social realities.

NGO CCR continuously observes, tracks, and evaluates child protection, focusing on preventing abuse, neglect, exploitation, and violence while providing support to at-risk children. Child Rights Monitoring (CRM) involves systematically gathering, analyzing, and assessing information on children's well-being and rights.

NGO CCR represents all CSOs involved in child affairs in Malawi by submitting supplementary reports on child rights to regional and international bodies like the UNCRC, ACRWC, and UPR, alongside government reports. Additionally, NGO CCR facilitates Child-Led and Child-Informed Reports, adhering to the principle of "participation" in the UNCRC and ACRWC.
